How many time I have searched on google to find an answer about something, then click on multiple search results, seek the forum to find any piece of information that will end my quest and then read a post that tell me:
« Search on google, there is plenty of site that will answer your question »

Useful commands to list processes that uses a certain file…
lsof | grep filename
There is also fuser but I never used this command before…

My cdrom drive on the pc in my kitchen is making too much noise. Here the command to slow it down a little bit to reduce noise!
sudo hdparm -E 8 /dev/cdrom
